I Hate ESPN

Are we supposed to take this seriously? ESPN should just openly root for all Boston sports teams and make our lives a whole lot easier.

In this episode we take a look at the action around college football and the NFL from this past weeked. Is #14 too high for East Carolina? What about the Patriots now that their posterboy is done for the year? We take a look at these, and other pressing issues from football this past weekend.
If you’re paying any attention to the unnecessary two weeks between the Conference Championships and Super Bowl, you’ve probably heard that Tom Brady hasn’t been around the Patriots’ practice facility when the media has been granted access. This has led to an incredible cat-and-mouse game of “Where’s Manwhore Tom?” Well, media. I have the answer. Tom Brady is alive. He will play in Super Bowl XLII. End of story.
For the second consecutive day, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t in the locker room or at practice when reporters and cameramen were allowed inside Friday.
During the 45-minute period in the locker room, several cameramen lingered near his locker, but he didn’t show up. Nor was he there for the first 12 minutes of practice that the media were allowed to watch.
The Patriots are big on mind games and I see this being just that: mindgames. No, Tom Brady isn’t in the hospital with another newborn herpes Bird Flu. No, his foot isn’t broken in six different places. Brady’s absence when the media has been around doesn’t mean he’s been absent the entire time. For all we know, Brady could be hiding out in a closet in Hoodie’s office, only to reemerge when the media bails.
Do we really think the New York Giants are preparing for Matt Cassel? Absolutely not. So why don’t we take this media charade to the Giants’ locker room and ask Michael Strahan about that divorce settlement. That’d make for more entertaining quotes than sitting by Tom Brady’s locker.
I caught this video over at Deadspin earlier today and it just goes to show you the true dominance of Tom Brady these days. After throwing another five touchdowns in another easy victory, Brady had the opportunity to bag yet another female. But instead of your random A+ supermodel, it was none other than NBC’s Andrea Kremer. It’s like Kremer is a 12 year old girl with her first crush.
In other news, Andrea Kremer is pregnant.*

Tom Brady has won three Super Bowls, two Super Bowl MVP awards, made three Pro Bowls, and knocked up a handful of Hollywood’s most famous women. But that isn’t enough for the city of Boston, who are now criticizing Brady for walking around Manhattan while wearing a Yankees hat.
The ever-vigilant paparazzi snapped New England Patriots QB/QT Tom Brady sashaying through the streets of New York City yesterday shamelessly sporting a New York Yankees cap!
?We know that Tom has an array of Red Sox caps from which to choose,? said team spokesguy Dr. Charles Steinberg. ?But we fully respect that he needed to wear a suitable disguise for his own health and protection. We don?t doubt that he?s a card-carrying member of Red Sox Nation.?
First of all, if I ever write a sentence like that, I’ll have Sportable shut down immediately. And Dr. Steinberg, shut up. Please. Brady has done enough for Boston. He doesn’t need to model his style after the city. Why aren’t you criticizing him for living in New York instead of Boston? All he does is play quarterback in New England. He’s not a slave there. He doesn’t have the city tattooed on his ass so in reality, he can wear whatever the hell he wants.
Brady restructures his contract so the Patriots can land a big-name receiver like Randy Moss and writers choose to focus on this? Let’s go down the list here. He was born in California, he went to school in Michigan and he lives in New York. All he does in Boston is play quarterback. Judging by the way that “Red Sox Nation” has responded to this irrelevant gossip, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why he lives somewhere else. Unless Brady’s arm is severed, the time period between February and August should be void of any Tom Brady news.
We knew that Tom Brady was a heart throb for women everywhere, but with recent news this may no longer be the case. No Tom didn’t go John Amaechi on us, he’s just having a kid. This raises the question, does the kid by Brady scare off women the same way a child would scare men off from women?
And a better question, how big of a butt-chin is the child going to have? Bridget Moynahan, the ex-girlfriend he knocked up, doesn’t have one, but will the Brady legacy live on? And does this make Moynahan the most hated female in the New England area? My money is on yes.
Tom finds himself in a real pickle here, but maybe he should just go to Matt Leinart for advice. Or maybe he should wear a rubber. Regardless, congrats to Tom for the baby even though I’m expecting he will have zero role in raising the child.
