In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve just launched a new store over at www.sportableshirts.com. We noticed that when it comes to funny t-shirts, the sports crowd is pretty much ignored. We decided to change that by starting Sportable Shirts, where we’ll be adding a new shirt design to the store every week. Another thing. Over the next few weeks expect to see a series of changes here on Sportable.com. We’ve decided that we want to take the site in a new direction with more original content, features, and maybe even a weekly comic strip or two. We want to give our readers something they can’t get elsewhere.

Coinciding with our new direction will be a new layout, which will be set to debut sometime late July or early August. We’re going to be moving forward gradually with changes to our article lineup and an increase in the podcast schedule starting this coming week, and we’ll be introducing a number of new features such as periodic interviews.

As we transition into the “new Sportable” or “Sportable 2.0″ if you will, things may get a little bumpy, so bear with us as we adjust. It’s been 9 months since we started the site, and we thank you for staying with us for this long.
