A lot went on in the world of sports this week, and there are a few images that we wish had been captured by the cameras, actually there are a few images we just wished happened.

Ricky Williams was kindly welcomed back to the NFL this week, if only his teammates and fans had supported him with this banner, we think the welcome back would have been that much better.

Barry Bonds is going to have to get used to his new home.  His indictment this week will most likely end his playing career, and if we’re lucky, could wind up with him behind bars.  On a lighter note, Bonds may no longer have to protest the Hall of Fame, because with this on his record, he might not even be let in.

Phil Jackon’s reference to the Lakers-Spurs game as a “Brokeback Mountain” type of game, was probably the highlight of the week.  Combined with his apology, it launched him into the number one spot of my favorite current coaches.  If only we had seen Kobe and Tony Parker sporting this look before the game we would have found the comments a little more believable.
