img_1070-custom.jpg7:31 P.M. Texas kicks-off to ASU to start the second half.

7:32 P.M. I am still upset at the fact that Erin Andrews is not in the building tonight. Instead, Lisa Salters is in her place. Those are big shoes that Lisa must fill.

7:38 P.M. ASU began their drive with a couple of first downs that would eventually result in a 47-yard field goal from red-shirt freshman place kicker Thomas Weber.

7:39 P.M. 28-13 Texas.

7:45 P.M. It looks as if ASU is picking up some steem. The Sun Devil defense stopped the Longhorns from moving forward and forced Texas to punt. ASU ball at the Texas 40.

7:46 P.M. The attendance of the game is announced in the Press Box. Over 64,000. Not bad for a game where Texas struggled to sell half their ticket allotment.

7:50 P.M. The turnover bug is one thing that the Sun Devils can’t get over tonight. ASU quarterback Rudy Carpenter was picked off again by safety Marcus Griffin at the Texas 5. 2 interceptions for Griffin.

7:57 P.M. Texas gets just shy of midfield on a 3rd down play and they are forced to punt yet again. The result of the punt has changed however this time around as Texas regains a muffed catch. Texas ball at the ASU 32.

8:00 P.M. Colt McCoy is once again displaying his highlight stick (I didn’t think he could have one). McCoy scrambled from the ASU 30 to the 3 yard line, then fumbled the ball forward into the endzone. It was recovered by Texas in endzone resulting in a touchdown. Texas leads 35-13

8:04 P.M. ESPN loves TV timeouts. Game stoppage of at least 3 minutes.

8:10 P.M. Rudy Carpenter throws one up to junior wide receiver Michael Jones, who catches it in the end zone in front of the Longhorn secondary. 35-20 Texas.

8:17 P.M. As the third quarter comes to an end McCoy is leading a drive into ASU territory. Texas leads 35-20 with the ball in their hands at the ASU 21.
