The Skinny Post: Thoughts and Reactions from Week 15

anderson snowWinless…No more! Finally, the Miami Dolphins have racked up a win in the 2007 season. The Dolphins beat the hapless Baltimore Ravens in overtime securing that they wouldn’t be the first team to ever go 0-16. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am that Miami won. Really.

Oh Yoko! My Tony Romo’s love interest, Jessica Simpson, was at the Cowboys game Sunday versus the Eagles. The result was Romo’s worst performance of the season, a thumb injury, and a 10-6 loss. The loss dropped the Cowboys to 12-2 and tied with the Packers for the best record in the NFC. Might Romo’s mind have been elsewhere?

Cleveland? More like Believeland! The Browns battled out an 8-0 win versus the Buffalo Bills in a snow storm that could have been categorized as a blizzard. At 9-5, the Browns are tied with the Steelers atop the AFC North and have arguably been the best story of the season. The Bills, meanwhile, aren’t statistically out of the hunt yet at 7-7. Regardless, I didn’t think they’d win 4 this year, so 7 is certainly a nice surprise.

Vikings sound playoff horn. The Vikings fought the Bears to a 20-13 win at the Metrodome and all but secured that they’d be doing the playoff dance. Despite Tavaris Jackson playing like nutsack and Adrian Peterson only running for 78 yards, the Vikings seem to be one of those teams that nobody wants to play.

Easy on the predictions for those Vikings there Rich. No team knows how to better snatch defeat from the jaws of victory than Minnesota.

Terrific photo. Also, I’m excited about the prospect of the Vikings in the playoffs. They are largely inexperienced and I don’t think this is “their year”, but man, Adrian Peterson and Tavarus Jackson are electric!

It also kills the karmic wonder that could have been – Miami defeating New England. Oh well, there is always next year with Parcells.

Maybe it is TO that is distracting Romo?
