Michigan fans can take comfort in the fact that this definitely isn't the biggest egg ever laid. Oklahoma has their fingers all over that claim from multiple angles. #2 ranked OU lost an opener in 1959 to lowly Northwestern by letting them score 45 points and then popped right out of the polls on Monday just like Michigan did. As for shocking upsets, late season in 1975 Oklahoma was ranked #1, the defending national champions, and hadn't lost a game since 1972 when they suddenly lost at HOME to perennial doormat Kansas 23-3. Since OU was voted AP National Champs in 1975 anyway, this is forever on record as a lowly team beating a great team.
