tony meola1994. A court ruling upholds that the NBA must maintain a salary cap and draft rights. Of course we can see what damages are done to sports without a salary cap in baseball especially where teams are spending upwards of $150 million on team salaries.

1994. The New York Jets sign U.S. National Team Goalkeeper Tony Meola to be their place kicker. Obviously this move didn’t pay off much and Meola didn’t stay in the league. Now Meola runs his own mortgage firm.

Meola kicked ass in front of the net. He just couldn’t reach it on kick offs.
