hawaiian-custom.JPG2007 MLB All Disappointment Team [Nyjer Please]: Since we’re now halfway through the Major League Baseball season, now is the time to formulate your busts of the first half. This blog has done a pretty nice job of it, although Johnny Damon’s sorry ass may have warranted a mention.

It’s The Team That Nobody Wants to Play [Wizard of Odds]:College football analysts everywhere are looking for a team to dub “The Next Boise State.” Hawaii might just be that team. Unfortunately, they won’t have many opportunities to make a statement against a quality opponent. June Jones is not pleased.

What’s With That Stupid Hill? [700 Level]: A Philadelphia-themed sports blog does not approve of Minute Maid Park’s center field dimensions. I get the fact that Minute Maid Park is trying to incorporate some elements from older parks. But I agree, that thing is just stupid.

Whatever Happened to Questec [Doberman On The Diamond]: I hadn’t heard about this thing since Curt Schilling took a bat to it while with the Diamondbacks. It turns out that umpires are now in favor of the system, calling it a “tool to make ourselves better.”
