Quincy Wilson Brightens up Wedding

bengals_logo.jpgIf I told you that an NFL player was arrested, the first thing you would think of is the Cincinnati Bengals. Once again, you’d be correct. Running back Quincy Wilson, who ironically played with fellow criminal Chris Henry at West Virginia, was arrested this past weekend in Huntington, Ohio. Wilson, along with five members of a wedding party, were arrested for disorderly conduct.

The arrest over the weekend of a football player for the Cincinnati Bengals is creating big controversy in Huntington.

Quincy Wilson was part of a wedding party celebrating at the envy nightclub, and he was arrested for disorderly conduct after leaving the club. Wilson is friends with the couple that got married on Saturday.

Included in the other five criminals was the bride and groom of the damn wedding. Nothing screams matrimony like a ride in a police car. Rather than doing the Macarena and YMCA dance, most of the wedding party thought hitting the clubs was a good time after the ceremony. But perhaps they could have chosen a better location? In the last week, the Envy Nightclub had reported shots fired and a stabbing near the area.

Disorderly conduct doesn’t give us much to work with but there’s some definite potential with this story. Did Wilson choke somebody out with his cummerbund? The Bengals and West Virginia have had some success on the field but damn, have they produced some losers or what? If my count is correct, this is the 11th different Bengal arrested. It takes a special, special group of players to achieve that.
