George Brett: The Major League Baseball Hall of Famer is celebreting his 54th birthday today. Brett played his entire career with the Kansas City Royals, finishing his career with 3,154 hits.He was named to 13 straight All Star Games and won four batting titles. He’ll also be remembered for going ballistic at an umpire after being ejected for using too much pine tar.
Ray Lewis: The Ravens linebacker is 32 today. Lewis is known for being accused of murder in 2000 after the Super Bowl. All he did the following season was lead one of the best defenses ever to a Super Bowl Championship. Lewis is still going strong with Baltimore.
Ron Simmons: Known as Faarooq in the WWE, Simmons is a part-time WWE wrestler. He gained notoriety while playing football at Florida State, where he was an All-American. He played in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns before moving on to professional wrestling. He can now be seen on telecasts screaming “Damn!” into the camera.
