In a trade that almost no one cares about, Jorge Julio is going to the Rockies from the Marlins in exchange for Byung-Hyun Kim. Since both of these pitchers absolutely suck, it really doesn’t matter. Hopefully Julio’s ERA will approach triple digits at Coors field.

Chipper Jones is not too pleased with the scheduling of interleague games. Jones has called the fact that the Braves must face the Red Sox six times “unfair.” Chipper’s dad must have never used the “life isn’t fair” proverb on him.

The Floyd Landis performance enhancement controversy is getting out of hand. His court appearances so far have been a complete disaster and proceedings are being called “messy.”

Bryan Colangelo won his second NBA Executive of the Year Award. I don’t quite understand the point of this award. I think it is to glorify a random suit whose job everyone wishes they had.

The Twins have given up on Sidney Ponson. I haven’t given up on him finding another judge to punch while on vacation. Come on Sidney, don’t let me down.

Tank Johnson is finally a free man. He was released from jail after serving his 60 day sentence for violating his probation. Hopefully he stays away from all weapons before his meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell.
