Pac Man Doesn’t Get It

by rich on May 12, 2007

pacmanThere are some people in this world who simply can’t get the message. They don’t understand the simple rules of society because, for whatever reason, they’ve never had to follow them. Adam Pac Man Jones is one of those people.

Pac Man picked up a speeding ticket at 12:45 am on Monday night, 45 minutes past his self-imposed curfew. Now let’s take a minute and look at this situation that Pac Man has found himself in. He’s currently facing a year suspension from the NFL and, as part of his appeal process, told commissioner Roger Goodell that he would make a 12:00 curfew for himself and follow it as part of showing that Pac Man had learned from his mistakes. Now, in his appeal process regarding the year suspension, Pac Man must go in front of Goodell and explain why he doesn’t deserve to sit the bench for a year. How in the world do you think this is going to go?

How can someone like Pac Man honestly defend his case for cutting down his year suspension just days after he picked up a speeding ticket while breaking the curfew that he recommended for himself. Unbelievable. I understand that Jones is a talented football player, and his punt return and cover skills have all the potential in the world. He’s also the biggest moron on the planet. For that, I have no sympathy for him. I hope he goes in front of the commissioner, pleads his case, and gets shut down. Bring the hammer down, Goodell. It’s about time.
