Blog Roundup for 4-17-07

Which Celebrity Do You Drink Like [Deadly Hippos]: An entertaining look at some athletes and their drinking tendencies. We have Kobe, everyone’s favorite lush at a party. Then there’s guys like A-Rod, who starts the night off by simply owning any drink around him. But by the end of the night, he’s passed out when others are just picking up their game.
First Goal [My Two Goals]: It’s a pretty cool thing to get commenters from as far away as Romania. Earlier today, this blogger came to our site and it looks like he has a real solid premise going with his new blog, one that just launched today. Every day, he will post two of his favorite soccer goals. Seems like a cool premise, consider us interested.
Where Will the Mighty Quinn Land? [Big Blue View]: The NFL Draft should happen sooner than it does. We’ve heard for months about Brady Quinn’s draft stock and just a week away from the draft, we’re still not sure where he’ll end up. He might go to Detroit 2nd overall. Or he might fall as low as #9 or #10.
Meet the Tiger Woods of Soccer [Our Book of Scrap]: Here’s a video of a three year old soccer prodigy from over the pond. For being so little, he’s got some great motor skills. It’s mind-boggling to think that professional clubs are already scouting this kid. But he’s already kicking the hell out of the ball. Half the fun in the video is figuring out what the British news guy is saying.
Drafting NFL Players the Scrabble Way [Mind Your Zs and Qs]: Screw mock drafts. This blog simply threw all of the names into Scrabble. The highest point total is the first overall pick. The Raiders ended up with some linebacker from North Dakota. The Lions ended up with an offensive lineman from Georgia. Millen should probably just go with this.
We’re Bringing Sexy Back [Kissing Suzy Kolber]: One of the best blogs ever made has some more shirts for their shop. We’re still considering a purchase of a few Sex Cannon shirts but in the meantime, KSK has released a shirt that makes fun of the 1999 NFL Draft Class.
