College Hoops 2K7 Previews the Final Four and National Championship

Using College Hoops 2K7, I?ve decided to simulate through the entire NCAA tournament. While this will be used for little besides a fun simulation, it will be interesting to see the results. If you?re in the market for a college hoops game, we recommend this one. The review for the game can be found here.
Final Four
(7) Indiana 60 vs. (7) Boston College 47
(2) Wisconsin 68 vs. (4) Virginia 45
It looks like we have an all Big Ten National Championship Game. I don’t have either team in this game going past the second round so somebody is definitely wrong here. The Hoosiers statistically dominated the Eagles in this one. They shot close to 50% and held Boston College to about 35% shooting. They dominated the rebounds and dished out 21 assists to just 11 for BC. A monstrous performance by DJ White (17 points, 12 rebounds) sends Indiana to their first championship game since 2001.
In the other semifinal, Wisconsin curbstomped the Virginia Cavaliers by 23. The first half saw the teams tied at 27 but then Wisconsin exploded, outscoring Virginia 41-18 in the second. The Badgers got big performances from Brian Butch (17 points, 9 rebounds), Alando Tucker (14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 sasits), and Kammron Taylor (14 points, 4 assists). Take this with a grain of salt, considering Butch’s elbow was destroyed in a game versus Ohio State just a couple weeks ago.
National Championship
(7) Indiana 63 vs. (2) Wisconsin 57
Are we sleeping on the Hoosiers or is this game that ridiculous? Maybe both. DJ White’s 13 points and 12 rebounds led the Hoosiers to their sixth title. It’s not a bad year for first-year coach Kelvin Sampson. Alando Tucker’s 19 points weren’t enough for the Badgers. They shot just 36% from the field and committed 15 turnovers. At least Niagara didn’t win it. But after running this simulation, I’m even more confused by this tournament.

Wouldn’t IU be playing Wisconsin in the semis, not the finals? And you are not sleeping on the Hoosiers - anything beyond a victory over Gonzaga is gravy.

Well, that’s a bummer.
I’d like to put the blame on the video game’s tournament system. When I input the brackets, I assumed the midwest and western regions would feed into each other because that’s the correct way. Apparently, they don’t.
Either way, you guys have yourself a national championship.
